Mat Kearney to Headline
The Deadwood Jam Committee is pleased to announce that critically-acclaimed Columbia Records recording artist Mat Kearney will headline the 19th Annual Deadwood Jam, Saturday, September 12, 2009.

| The Black Hills’ premiere annual music event, the Deadwood Jam will kick-off on Friday, September 11, 2009, with Rocco DeLuca and The Burden headlining the opening night line-up, which will also feature 2002 Grammy Nominee Randy McAllister with the Brandon Sprague Blues Band, and local favorite Violent Hippie. |

In addition to Mat Kearney, Saturday’s show will feature Austin, Texas-based folk-rock artist Sarah Pierce, and alternative pop/rock band Savage Henry, as well more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
Kearney is best known for the songs from his major label debut, Nothing Left To Lose, including the hit singles “Nothing Left To Lose,” “Undeniable,” and “Breathe In, Breathe Out,” which was used in television promotions for the fourth season of the ABC series “Grey’s Anatomy.” He is currently touring in support of his highly praised new album, City of Black & White.
