February 28 6pm              Costume Stroll on Main Street - register at the Franklin Hotel! 
  8pm Mardi Gras & Masquerade Party - at the Franklin Hotel! King & Queen Coronation and Mardi Gras costume contest, with over $2,000 in cash and prizes
 
  9pm Live Zydeco Music by Curley Taylor at the Franklin Hotel
All Events are FREE!
March 1 1pm - 4pm Taste some of the finest Cajun foods in the region at this free Cajun food cook-off competition. This public tasting will be at locations throughout Deadwood.
  7pm Deadwood's Annual Mardi Gras Parade! Get a spot on Main Street and collect your share of over 100,000 sets of beads thrown during the parade.
  9pm Live music by Curley Taylor at the Franklin Hotel
